GROUND (from the series The City is a Sock I Can’t Take Off)
Handmade zine / 16 p / 4-Color Risograph / Mono Screen print on MDF / 16 cm * 16 cm / 2026
The City Is a Sock I Can’t Take Off uses play as a method to explore the cyclical relationship between urban construction and the land. The work consists of a children’s play table, UV-printed and ordinary building blocks, a game book, an archival inkjet print, and artificial grass, together forming an open and participatory environment.
The work approaches the city as a continuous process of construction and reconstruction, inviting viewers to engage in acts of defunctionalised building. As structures are dismantled and established orders are disrupted, what ultimately emerges is the land itself. Through play and participation, the work invites viewers to reconsider the relationship between urban development, spatial memory, and the land, while experiencing the connection between people and their environment through a cycle of construction and return.
London Landscape Vol.1
tabloid newspaper / 4 p / 28.9cm * 38 cm / 2026
For those accustomed to walking with their heads down, the scenery beneath their feet offers another way to understand a city.
Using manhole covers as a starting point, I documented the often-overlooked details of London's surface, observing their shapes and distribution. These manhole covers often cluster in a seemingly accidental way: at street corners, along sidewalk edges, or at seemingly unrelated spatial nodes, forming temporary clusters. This distribution is neither entirely random nor easily categorized; it's more like the traces left by different systems superimposed on each other within the city. Thus, in the process of walking, we are able to glimpse a small corner of this vast network.
停 Stop!
Illustration zine / 24 p / Risograph / 14.8 cm * 21 cm / 2025
‘Stop!’ is a hand-bound book that revisits my childhood belief in having telekinetic power.
Built from pastel drawings and printed in 3-colour Riso, it preserves the grainy, unstable texture of memory itself. The story traces how a simple act—shouting ‘stop!’ at a rolling pencil—once felt like a real superpower, shaped by imagination and emotion.
As the narrative reflects on love, hate, and hope as forces that once felt physically potent, the work considers how these sensations fade yet never fully disappear. Through its intimate scale and imperfect layers, Stop observes how childhood logic transforms with age while still quietly informing how I understand feeling and possibility.
Cheers!
Illustration zine / 32 p / 14.8 cm * 21 cm / 2024
For me, the act of toasting is both familiar and unfamiliar. In social gatherings, I often find myself standing and exchanging "cheers" with unfamiliar faces, lifting one glass after another. I'm not sure what it signifies, but Iawkwardly join in, clinking glasses with them.
‘Cheers!’ is a zine of illustrations. Through the simple yet profound act of toasting, it evokes a series of emotional resonances and insights.
The illustrations present those subtle and precious moments at the dinner table throughdelicate images and words that become a beautiful meditation on love and minutiae.
Chasing the Aurora
Picture Book / 36 p / 24 cm * 24 cm / 2024
The source of this picture book is my failed trip to chase the Aurora , a journey that made me rethink the meaning of travelling. In order to achieve the goal, we often miss a lot of scenery along the way. Is the goal the only ultimate meaning in travelling?
I don't think so.
It's the ‘misses’ that make the surprises.
One Page zine / Risograph/ 29.7cm * 42cm / 2025
When I contemplate this city, I instinctively picture it as a pile of building blocks. As I reconstruct London, London reconstructs me.
