About
Wang YIzhu（王 翊竹）, based in Shanghai, is an illustrator and creator in the field of interdisciplinary art and design. She specialises in exploring emotional and ethical issues in contemporary society through material experimentation and narrative expression. She is committed to breaking down the barriers of perception through the language of art and guiding the audience to re-examine the neglected dimensions of emotion.
Her interdisciplinary studies have given her a different understanding of illustration, specialising in the use of opaque watercolours, crayons and other mediums, in the hope of conveying to readers the emotionally-charged moments of life.
