For me, the act of toasting is both familiar and unfamiliar. In social gatherings, I often find myself standing anaexchanging "cheers" with unfamiliar faces, lifting one glass after another. I'm not sure what it signifies, but Iawkwardly join in, clinking glasses with them.

‘Cheers!’ is a zine of illustrations. Through the simple yet profound act of toasting, it evokes a series of emotionl resonances and insights. 
The illustrations present those subtle and precious moments at the dinner table throughdelicate images and words that become a beautiful meditation on love and minutiae.

The source of this picture book is my failed trip to chase the Aurora , a journey that made me rethink the meaning of travelling. In order to achieve the goal, we often miss a lot of scenery along the way. Is the goal the only ultimate meaning in travelling?
 I don't think so. 

It's the ‘misses’ that make the surprises.
